Responsibilities include developing and implementing a communications strategy for existing clients, writing case studies, and developing content to help clients promote and roll out their WorldAware services to their organization.

As a senior account manager at WorldAware, I worked closely with our most strategic account to help them implement their solutions and develop their travel risk management strategies.

I researched different approaches to combating anti-corruption in European and Central European countries.  I wrote reports, newsletter articles, and helped organize two regional conferences.

I performed media monitoring services for the American Red Cross, managed their website/social media presence, and managed the blog for their young professional organization.  I also research and prepared reports as needed by the Financial Development and Special Events department.

Managed website content, designed and wrote the monthly newsletter, organized the Innovation Summit, and managed volunteers.

Organized community initiatives including: two English language camps, an HIV prevention seminar, and human trafficking awareness campaign.  I also wrote and won multiple grants to develop an English language learning center and community playground.

MA degree in Political Science with a focus on European Security Studies.  Coursework focused primarily on international institutions and politics as they relate to foreign, security, and development policies.

One year of my studies was completed at the University of Bath in Bath, England.

Double BA in International Politics (focus South America and Security) and Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  Coursework focused on US foreign policy, South American politics, and conflict studies.

Research fellowship in conjunction with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) that focused on the international community’s rebuilding efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina. My research focused on the reorganization of security forces post conflict.
